10:00 AM LATE START on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. No morning activities, breakfast, weightlifting, and no 3-year-old Preschool as a result of the late start. Buses run accordingly. After consulting with the National Weather Service in Hastings and transportation officials, the decision was made to have a 10:00 AM LATE START due to road conditions and out of an abundance of caution given the continued high winds and gusts. While we realize this isn't the most convenient for our families, the safety of our students, staff, and families is our priority. Quiz Bowl begins at Centura High School at 10:00 AM.

WRESTLING TEAM CELEBRATES OUTSTANDING STATE TOURNAMENT PERFORMANCES Congratulations to our wrestling team for their impressive showing at the State Wrestling Tournament! Our athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and fortitude throughout the competition. STATE TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS Zayden Delgado - 4TH PLACE STATE FINISHER Season Record: 43-10 Dakota Gibson - 138 lbs - 6TH PLACE STATE FINISHER Season Record: 36-9 Riley Bishop - 120 lbs - 6TH PLACE STATE FINISHER Season Record: 45-12 Haydan Smith - 126 lbs - STATE QUALIFIER Season Record: 40-15 Tycen Breckner - 285 lbs - STATE QUALIFIER Season Record: 51-2 The team finished in 15th place overall in the state tournament with 42.5 points, competing against 53 schools with a qualifying wrestler, and 64 class C schools from across the state. This outstanding performance caps off a remarkable season for our wrestling program. Each of these athletes has shown tremendous growth throughout the year, overcoming challenges and representing our school with pride. D-T Families, I hope this finds you enjoying MUCH BETTER weather than last week. I appreciate your patience as we navigated the week. I am writing to ask for 10 minutes of your time to complete a survey for D-T Public Schools. Based on last year's results, we are working on improving our communication efforts and specifically the information provided regarding post-secondary opportunities for students. To date, we have met twice with a parent-advisory group that provided specific examples that we have implemented: - Consistent and predictable newsletters from multiple parts of the building - Community coffee at consistent intervals - Poster-sized newsletters displayed in the building - 10-day activity outlooks Following this year's survey we will convene our parent-advisory team again to continue our improvement methods.
