As temperatures start to drop it is essential that our CARDINALS are dressed appropriately for the cold weather. Keeping our students warm and safe is a top priority. The following is our guidelines to help Prek-6th grade students and parents know our expectations for recess as the temperature changes. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES.... COME ON!! We have been celebrating positive behavior here at DT! DT staff has been focusing on the positive and we have recognized many students for doing the right thing. Keep it up! WHO WILL BE NEXT?

Mrs. Barnett is our August teacher of the month! Mrs. Barnett teaches 6th grade and has a heart of gold. She goes above and beyond to build positive relationships with her students. She provides a calm learning environment where students love to be. She is a wonderful coworker and we are so lucky to have her at DT. Congrats Mrs. Barnett!

Internet Safety Presentation Today, our 5th–12th grade students had the opportunity to hear from Bobby Truhe of KSB Law. He shared valuable insights about internet safety and helped students understand the potential risks and consequences of unsafe or inappropriate online behavior. We are grateful for his time and expertise in helping our students make smart and responsible choices online.

Looking to get rid of your old Legos, blocks or other toy building materials? Consider dropping them off at the elementary office to beneift our morning routines! #TheCardinalWay
