After consulting with the Hall County Road Department and inspecting some of our bus routes, the decision was made to have a 10:00 AM late start on Friday, January 20, 2023. This additional time to start the day will provide plows time to clear outlying bus routes, re-open routes and roads that may have been blown shut during the day, and provide extra time for students to arrive. Bus route drivers are calling families to determine if their road is open and accessible. If students and families cannot get to school because of the road conditions or the bus cannot reach you, those absences will be excused. We realize this isn't the most convenient for our families, but the safety of our students, staff, and families is our first priority.
