6th-Grade Promotion
Awesome day for the Junior High track kids that competed at the invite only A-Town Showdown. The 4x800 girls of Taylor Knott, Rory Callahan, Elaina Deets, and Delilah Kramer finished 7th with a new JH School Record by over 20 seconds! Mara Uden finish 5th in the Shot and 7th in Discus. Aiden long was 5th in Discus and 13th in Shot. Owen Zakrzewski was 13th in the 1600 with a 13 second PR!
Congratulations to the DT Track and Field teams as the Boys finished Conference Runner Up and the Girls finished 4th at the 9 team Conference Meet! Shout out to Kaser Johnson for breaking the 3200 School Record, Jack Poppe for breaking the Triple Jump School Record, Sevyn Russell for breaking the 400 School Record, and Andy Schultz for tying the Pole Vault School Record!
Our teacher of the month for April is Mrs. Glenda Gant! Mrs. Gant teaches kindergarten and has a heart of gold. Mrs. Gant works hard to help her students learn and grow. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Gant at DT!
