Currently, as it stands, Friday, September 2nd is scheduled as a 1:30 PM Dismissal. This is the Friday leading into Labor Day Weekend.
West Holt, Atkinson, is who we play in football that same night, was originally scheduled for a 7:00 PM game. West Holt could not find officials for the 7:00 PM start time, but they found a crew that could do the game at 2:30 PM. As such, our game for West Holt is now scheduled for 2:30 PM.
After talking with our administrative team and reviewing options, we will dismiss school on Friday at 11:30 AM, so anyone who wants to attend or take their kids can do so without missing school, our staff taking any leave, finding subs, etc. West Holt is about 2.5 hours away.
Students will still be provided lunch at school on this date.
Students missing 4 hours doesn't cause us to be under the time needed for accreditation and Rule 10 so there will be no student makeup for this time.
