At it again

JH boys basketball is back in session

JH basketball starts its season Monday the 11th with a game at DT. 

They have had a few practices and some players did club ball for the past month or two. 

“I am excited to start practicing with the boys and seeing where the season takes us. We have a lot of talented young men, and they are going to get better as the season progresses,” said head coach Mr. Drew Bivens.   

The boys will play every Monday and Thursday until February 20th. Though they had limited practice time they performed very well during their first game. 

They have 25 boys playing this year forming 3 teams, the A, B, and C teams. One seventh grader starts for the A team this year, Jack Poppe.

When asked what he found most exciting about basketball he said one word, “winning.”

This year is going to be very exciting with old and new talent combining to make a dream team. Of course, there are things the team isn’t perfect at but the team is working hard to become the best they can be.
