Why get involved with the Booster Club?

Research has shown that children succeed academically, socially and emotionally becoming more well-rounded individuals when their parents are involved in their education and school activities.  Getting involved shows children that their parents are genuinely interested and that going to school is a very positive cause.

When are the Booster Meetings?

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month from August to June at 7:00 pm in the High School Library lasting approximately 1 - 2 hours.

How do the Boosters support our district?

The Boosters support our district by promoting community unity.  The Boosters host a few events throughout the year.  They host an annual Community BBQ and Pep Rally in August to integrate all age groups and to show that community pride begins at a young age.  The Boosters host a Youth Basketball Tournament every January in order to promote good sportsmanship and character building.  The Boosters also host Cardinal Pride every March which is an annual fundraiser for the Booster Club.  All funds are used to improve any NSAA sponsored events.

How are the Booster committees structured?

Members of the Booster club volunteer to participate on various committees meeting when necessary and then report back to the Boosters.  For the upcoming year, we are working on creating Committee Chairs with sub-committees reporting to them.  The Booster club expectation is that the Committee Chairs attend the monthly Booster Club meeting and delegate to the sub-committee members.

How are Booster Club funds raised?

Our main fund raiser is Cardinal Pride.  the selling of our pocket calendars. Other ways in which the Boosters raise funds are 3 Dog Nights, the Youth Volleyball Tournament, the Youth Basketball Tournament, and our clothing sales.

How are funds distributed?

The funds raised by the Boosters are distributed in the April and/or May meeting based on their availability and according to requests presented by either coaches or the athletic director.
