Doniphan- Trumbull Return to School Protocols for 2021-22 School Year

July 12, 2021

For immediate release:

Doniphan-Trumbull Return to School Protocols for 2021-2022 School Year

This communication is to inform our community, students, families and staff of the most up to date Return to School guidance and ask for input on this draft.

Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools has been in operation throughout the 2020-2021 school year and ended last year with full in person classes without masks required.  This is how we plan to start the 2021-2022 school year.  This is represented by the "Clear - All Clear" column in the guidance.  The other columns were in place last year and remain virtually unchanged.

The purpose of this blueprint draft of Return to School Protocols is aligned to the Federal American Rescue Plan Action, Section 2001(i) - ESSER III.  This is a continuation of the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the educational program during the 2020-2021 and into the 2021-2022 school year. The framework is structured to support the district in articulating its plan for in person school in a clear, comprehensive, and transparent manner. The goal of Doniphan-Trumbull administration is for all staff and students to continue to safely participate in on-campus learning, where each student will be prepared for a lifetime of personal success.

At your convenience, please access the link provided or go to the Doniphan-Trumbull Public School website to provide feedback on our draft protocols.  Thank you for your time and for the privilege of being your superintendent of schools.
