Downloading Videos from the Internet for Use in Projects

Many students have been trying to download files from web sites to use for classroom projects.  Before you read the following instructions on how to download, make sure that you write down all of your source information so that you can give credit to the creators and web site that you used to access the file.

To download a video for use in other presentations:

  1. Open the URL (web site) of the video you need and copy the URL.
  2. Open a new tab and go to www.zamzar.com.
  3. In Step 1 at the bottom of the ZamZar window, click the URL link and paste the video's URL.
  4. Step 2 - chose either a "mov" or "m4v" format.
  5. Step 3 - enter your email address.
  6. Step 4 - click "Convert"

If you have questions, please see Mrs. Ott.  Remember to give credit where credit is due!
