Our Process In Curriculum & Assessment

Our curriculum and assessment work is no quick and easy solution to immediate concerns; it is a comprehensive strategy that takes time to establish. Through this process, this district will create our own curriculums, aligned with state and national standards.
Outcomes:
· Making sure the district has teachable curriculum
· Defining mastery (learning targets)
· Addressing grading and reporting issues
· Completing long-range plans
· Converting from classroom-based curriculum to district-based curriculum
· Deciding how to effectively use professional learning opportunities
· Deciding on the purpose and use of local assessments
· Aligning curriculum with continuous improvement goals
· Assuring that instruction is deliberate and aligned
