"Serving Students With Digital Literacy"
The Doniphan-Trumbull School Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit public benefit corporation, organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.
The purpose of the Doniphan-Trumbull School Foundation is to support quality education in the Doniphan-Trumbull public school through fund raising in the communities that make up our school district. Our Mission: To identify and provide funding for educational opportunities beyond the scope of existing programs and resources in the Doniphan-Trumbull Public School.

* Creative Curriculum Projects
* Professional Development
* Enhancing Fine Arts and Technology
* Joint School-Community Ventures
Many school foundations were founded for the purpose of providing scholarships to deserving high school graduates so they may proceed into higher education. That is a wonderful and necessary pursuit that should be continued, but it does not have to be the extent of how an education foundation can be a partner in the building of a community.
Nationally, some communities have used the foundation to “push the envelope” on scholarships promising a scholarship to every student who graduates ready to attend college. That can be an effective tool to attract residents looking for a home in your area. But foundations can also be used to build community resources supporting early childhood education, before- and after-school care, technology access, or community recreation centers. These are all areas State Aid doesn’t fully recognize and budget lids don’t easily accommodate.

The purpose of OUR Education foundation is to support quality education in the Doniphan-Trumbull Public School through fund raising in the communities that make up our school district.
The focus of OUR foundation for the 2009-2010 school year and beyond is to:

More and more, students need to graduate with technological skills that will help them succeed in college and the workplace. Now, thanks to a technology fundraising campaign made possible by the Doniphan-Trumbull School Foundation and partnership with the Doniphan-Trumbull Public School the district will be working to make a real difference in the technology available to Doniphan-Trumbull students in the coming years.
