Doniphan-Trumbull has 49 full and part-time teachers, 50 support staff, and 3 administrators for 496 students Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. With an average of 13 years experience, teaching at DT is a great place to be.
The Doniphan-Trumbull teachers work hard to create a learning environment that is rigorous and challenges all students. The teachers understand that they must develop lessons that will meet all learners. Most classroom teachers have been trained in Quantum Learning, Brain Research, 6 Traits, Write Tools, and Differentiated Instruction.
The support staff are always ready to assist students, teachers and administrators in anyway they can. Their commitment to the district is remarkable.
The three administrators coordinate all programs on a PreK-12 basis. The administrators believe in staff development to keep staff current with educational trends and to ensure that improvement in the classroom is continual.
