When looking at the past seven years, a very high percentage of our seniors (74%) have taken the ACT test, and 63% of this group went on to attended a 4-year college or university. Every year a number of our students who are not planning to attend 4-year colleges (and who have not taken the college prep core) elect to take the ACT. With small class sizes, the scores of these students have a big impact on the class averages.
A great amount of attention has been given to the standardized achievement tests and the district standards. More attention will be given to the concepts tested on the ACT and test preparation in the near future.
