3rd Graders Visit Mary Lanning Hospital

On Tuesday, February 21, the third grade classes took a field trip to Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital to learn more about health care. The focus of our field experience was on pre-surgical prep, surgical equipment, x-rays, and monitors used during surgery. Students enjoyed learning what to expect before, during, and after surgery. Students were also given a mask, surgical cap, and t-shirt for their participation on the field trip. Our field trip to Mary Lanning Hospital was a great learning experience for all third grade students.
