4th Grade Experiences The State Fair

The state fair met with rave reviews from fourth graders who were
able to visit the fair with Doniphan Elementary students Thursday,
Sept. 2. Students walked a lot, saw many animals, had a great lunch,
participated in many hands-on learning activities, and saw some
awesome shows. Following are responses given by Mrs. Heyen's 4th
grade students when asked what their favorite part of the fair was:
Ben - I liked Vox Audio and shooting the bow.
Brittany - I liked the 4-H Zone place with the green screen. I
also like the Vox Audio. It was fun seeing them perform.
Taylor - My favorite part was seeing the big pig. I also saw a
goat with THREE horns.
Caleb - I liked the laser shooting and the welding. I liked the
big Clydesdale horses, cows, sheep and pigs.
Kelton - I liked the 4 - H room. I liked where you got to shoot
with a lazer gun.
Jack - One of my most favorite things to do was to make deer scat.
I liked the hunting game, too.
Bianca - I liked the concert named Vox Audio! They were so awesome!!
I also liked the baby sheep. They were so cute!! I finally liked
the horses, especially Sammy!
Kalee - I enjoyed the singers; that was really cool. I enjoyed
seeing my dad, so he could see all the rides. I enjoyed looking at
the biggest pig in Nebraska. I also enjoyed looking at all the baby
animals; they were cool.
Bailey - I liked the baby sheep and the Clydesdale horses. I liked
making a quilt. The green screen and Vox Audio were two other things
I liked.
Allyson - I saw a huge pig and all of the sheep. I got to take home
some wool. I also saw Vox Audio.
Colten. - I liked the water show and Vox Audio.
Jayden - I liked the time when I shot the deer. I liked when we
looked at all the animals, and when Mrs. Heyen got to shave the
sheep.
Brynna - My favorite thing about the state fair was the animals.
They were awesome! I've never seen a pig that big! He was huge! My
other favorite thing was the 4-H part.
Kate - At the state fair I liked the 4-H area. I also liked the bow
and arrow.
Trinity - I liked the horses and cows the most.
Blaine - I liked the hunting game. I also liked to make the bug out
of food.
