Google Calendar for Teachers

Google Apps is a free service from Google that allows custom domain names. Cardinal Mail (@dtcardinals.org) is powered by Google and allows users the benefit of having access to Google Apps for Education. Google Apps includes Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and Presentations in addition to Google Talk, Sites, and Google Calendar. It is highly collaborative and has the potential to make communication across our district simple and effective.
How will we be using it?
The staff at D-T will be using the calendar by embedding it in their teacher webpages for students, parents, and other staff members to see. Your calendar should include some or all of the following information: assignments, classroom activities, themes, units of study, meetings, times out of the building for school-related events, field trips, inservices and/or workshops.
